Now that I've recently set on my way to becoming proficient at the guitar, I can't help feeling some kind of relief. I realize now more than ever how much I've admired those who could play, because of how expressive those chords can be, and honestly in part, simply because others admired them as well. Some time during the 20th century, the guitar trumped all other instruments in street cred, and became one of the most attractive forms of male creativity.
